Road Conditions:

Currently, the slip area village side of Knuckle Hill lookout holds firm, but hardly inspires confidence. It is however persistently wet right now, so it's worth keeping in mind douing periods of extended rainfall.

Behold, the family heirloom. My sister’s moody, black-and-white photo makes it look all dramatic and poignant, but let’s be real. This is my dad's truck, the official monument to "I'm gonna fix it up one day." It has seen more seasons than The Simpsons and is slowly becoming one with the earth. Dad swears it just needs a little TLC. That crack in the windshield? Custom ventilation. The rust? That's a "bespoke patina finish." The fact that a family of possums might live in the glove box? That's just an optional security feature. He insists it ran when it was parked back in '93. Don't you dare suggest getting rid of it, though. This isn't a pile of scrap metal; it's "potential." He'll get to it right after he finds that one specific wrench he misplaced a decade ago. Any day now.
