Weather:
| Thurs 2nd Oct, 2025: | A repeat of Wednesday it seems, with rainfall predicted around 10am - lunchtime with moderate winds possibly switching to northerly. |
|---|---|
| Fri 3rd Oct, 2025: | Friday starts out clear, those northerly breezes seeming to keep it up overnight. Heavier looking showers come moving in from the north-west around 7-10pm setting up for a rugged looking night, as a high system shoots the gap, and the North Island gets it right in the kinas. Get some firewood in. |
| Sat 4th Oct, 20205 | Not to worry though, as you should rise this morning with your kinas fully soaked, unless you secured the grundle-strap securely before you slumbered. Rain should abate a bit heading into the evening. Now, the wind maps are hesitant to draw in the magnificent portion of the coast area, so I would hesitate to make the vall, but if forced, I'd say tie up the dog. There's something nasty out in the ocean to the south-east that makes me want to climb a volcano and throw my thing in it. |
| Sun 5th Oct, 2025: |
Strong weather predicted for Sunday. Southwest winds, maybe 8kts. The heaviest stuff, for the moment, should have dumped last night. Expect intermittent light rain/drizzle for the first part of the day, with heavier deluges predicted for the afternoon. |
